Hi everyone, I'm finally back with an update!
I can't believe it has already been a month and a week since I've returned from my holiday in Taiwan. I miss hanging out with my girls Val & Tina. I miss the food. The shopping. The awesome taxi service. The cute little dogs. The night markets. The customer service... I really miss being on holidays!
I spent one week in Taipei, from the 2nd of jan ~ 10th jan.
Val and I stayed at Tina's house (many thanks to Tina & Anthony for having us!)

Here are some snap shots. Not everything happened in this order but I hope you enjoy having a look at my photos :) Most images are taken by my iPhone ~

Streets of Taipei. So many eateries everywhere! Thanks Val for the photo :)

There are so many pet friendly restaurants and soo many stores with pet fashion! Check out the clothes for dogs!! A lot of the dogs I saw were like toy dogs, tiny and cute! Except for the 3rd dog, one of the few larger (normal sized) ones that happened to be wearing a human jacket hehe, major cuteness>.<

It makes my mouth water just by looking at these photos. Above is a collection of some of the desserts that we indulged ourselves in. TJB cafe had the buttermilk pancakes with strawberries and strawberry waffles with condensed milk, Dazzling Cafe had these hazelnut chocolate honey toast and Cupidon Afternoon Tea Cafe had waffles and green tea latte, which I LOVED. The presentation is just gorgeous!

We also got to celebrate Tina's special day! Happy birthday~~ This was taken at the Japanese restaurant that Tina, Anthony, Val and I went to. Forgot to check the name of the restaurant, maybe I just forgot the name along with the rest of the memories from that night *ahem

L'Herboflore Press Event
Val & I had the privilege of attending the L'Herboflore Press Event thanks to Tina!! The event was hosted at Neo 19 in Xinyi District. The venue was decked out with promotional pieces and it was just stunning! I managed to take a panoramic shot of the event, how amazing is it? So much time and effort put into this event!

Leaving our mark! :) I also got up and close with gorgeous Taiwanese - French actress, Sandrine Pinna~ Too bad I didn't understand what they were saying!

We visited the L'Herboflore station in 101 as well. Gorgeous packaging and amazing products. These masks are definitely a must try!! I will have a blogpost dedicated to that later on.

Din Tai Fung in Taipei!! In love with the mascot haha, super adorable. Wishing we had a chain in Melbourne. Each time I visit Sydney, I attempt to go to Din Tai Fung but being travellers, we are always up and out early and it never seems to be open when we visit. My new discovery of local food, 3in1. Not sure of the proper name but basically it has chinese donut in it!! The best snack invented. Val and I are surely having withdrawal symptoms..Craving for it as I type :'(

Panoramic shot of the Shilin Night Market, underground! I could live there.

If you ever visit the Shilin Market, you must must try the oyster omelette and the spring onion pancake!!!! OMG. Especially the spring onion pancake that I can drool over ..just by thinking about it.. It is picture no.2 on the right column. Next time I visit Taipei, I have to spend a few nights here at the least!

More food~ tea and dessert at Sweet Tea in 101. Movenpick above Uniqlo . Yumminess at Mazendo (love garlic flavour) and again the 3in1!! Never enough of that seriously.. Tina also took us to the best beef noodles in town! MmMmm ♡

I am also not a stinky tofu virgin anymore! I have always wondered why this so called tofu was called stinky and why it was so popular. I tried my first stinky tofu at Raohe St Night Market and although it was really smelly, I'm glad I gave it a go. Now I can say I've tried it and I know it's not that bad. I probably wouldn't order it again but apart from the smell, it's actually quite crispy and nice :) I guess it's like the Japanese eating nattou! I love it but I'm sure if other people see it or smell it they'd be grossed out haha.

Shopping pics~
I purchased some Chanel goodies that I posted on my instagram already~ I will update that in a diff post since I've got way too many pictures for one post! Jill Stuart, Anna Sui and Paul & Joe cosmetics.. I am so easily convinced with gorgeous packaging.

SOGO, BELLAVITA, 101

There is a shop called SO NICE where the shop assistant actually allows us to take photos inside and moves out of the way haha. Val also picked out some leather pieces for me~ Even the bathrooms are nice and perfect for photowhoring haha.

Tina & Anthony's crazy cats! Doof & Donut haha. I am madly in love with the pic of Donut sitting like a human!! Doof has also become my bff.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Taiwan, thanks to Tina and Val :)
