A while back, I had the privilege of meeting Melbourne freelance hair & makeup artist, Megan Harrison. Megan has had many years of experience in the beauty industry. She has worked in various locations such as LA, Paris, Copenhagen and also in Sydney. She has also worked with celebrities, her work can be found in many different areas. Megan currently runs her own make up classes and I got to see a little of her magic whilst she performed a demo on a volunteer at her Masterclass Event. The difference of learning makeup on counter and with Megan is that you can see she doesn't stick to one brand only. You can see some of the brands in the above photo, there were products from Ellis Faas, Illamasqua, Chanel, Bourjois, Uban Decay and much much more! I also first discovered one of my - now - favourite products that night: Bioderma Crealine H20. It's definitely a more hands on way to learn.
Students can choose from personal classes, artists beginners classes or the masterclasses. Megan donates $10 from every course fee to either Look Good Feel Better or Animals Australia. Assist charities while learning some great makeup techniques! Click here if you're interested!
