Night Outfit | A Very Quick Update ☆

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a quick update ~ I didn't update at all in May.. how terrible is that! I couldn't let June slip through my fingers so I thought even if it was a super short, quick update, it was better than 2 months of nothing! I'll endeavour to update more over the long weekend ♡  I wonder what everyone has been up to, i miss all of you, my sweet online friends :)

Dressy Outfit | Strapless Satin Ruffle Dress from Simplydresses

I haven't done an outfit post in the longest time!
I started out this blog with posts of what-i-wore-today so I might start doing more of these again~

Recently, I received this gorgeous origami-like strapless satin dress from Simplydresses.co.nz.
My friends would know that I hate wearing anything that reveals my shoulders and upper arms but I really liked this design ♡ This is what it looks like on the model and below are some of my front, side and back images.

I loved this Camellia Nourishing Hydromask from the Garden of Venus Flora range. The mask quality was really impressive and it has a lot of product so you can massage the excess into your arms/legs/neck etc. It's designed to fit on all shapes and sizes, has natural fibres that allow it to perfectly conform to the skin and a high absorbency of serum to help deliver into the skin!

My skin the next day definitely felt more hydrated and looked a lot more soft. I usually have enlarged pores due to my oily with dry surface skin type but it helped to minimise that with all the nourishing!! Very happy with the result! ♡ so happy that I felt like taking cross eyed pics 8)
I was already sold by the packaging and further fell in love with it when it was on the skin. It smells beautiful as well.

I wear the peace heart earrings to work everyday because its subtle, thin and not over the top:) I haven't had the chance to dress up and wear the gold diamonte spike studs yet but I'm looking forward to when I do!

Eye Makeup, A Quick & Simple Hair Cut at Tsumiki Design and my Carmex Lip Balm Giveaway Winners

I haven't really posted an EOTD pic in a while! I'm wearing the Dueba Dreamy.i Green lenses here with my thick black liquid liner by Dolly Wink. I wore this when I went to get my hair cut at Tsumiki Design a couple of weeks ago.

Ever since I dyed my hair back to black, I have managed to save a lot of time and money. There are often times I have the urge to colour my hair again, especially when I see my gorgeous friends or browse blogs, Instagram, fb, Pinterest etc. But having naturally very black, thick and dry hair, it is so difficult to have and maintain coloured hair.

I went to see Takaさん to get my hair thinned and layered. It's definitely not a drastic change but it feels a lot lighter, healthier and much less hassle to wash/dry. Takaさん now uses Shu Uemura hair products at his salon and wow, it was so luxurious and smelt divine. Can't wait to learn more about that soon! Here are the before and after pics!

Current hair plans: Grow hair long again, have it more layered and thinned. Get a fringe, keep it black. 

One day, I want to chop off my long hair and donate it. Last time I had long hair, I was ready to go short only to research and find out that I couldn't donate as it had been dyed and chemically straightened in the past.

Hopefully I don't change my indecisive mind and cut it half way!
